There are 5 issues in this level, but all agreed that issue number 1 is most important. All others relate back to it.
- Changing job description/ Responsibilities
- Technology education added to responsibilities
- Lesson plans required—to include…?
- No job description; will individual principals decide?
- Maintenance of laptops? IT DIRECT via rtnj.org
- Staff needs to know whether to contact media spec. or tech staff IT DIRECT via rtnj.org
- Need guidelines on “tech” piece
- Supplies/Ordering – lack of materials/technology in individual bldgs
- How to incorporate increased responsibilities in existing schedule
(1/2 hour block)
- Compliance with REA contract- preps, flex time for library as
resource
- Common planning/meeting time
- No supervisor/leadership
- Lack of meetings, calling of subs, professional development
- No advocate for program
- Lack of supervisory contact
- Curriculum
- What is it? Cannot teach 2 curricula in same time constraints Not a new curriculum -Support Technology Integration Projects
